Again Now 03:50
Again now Again now I feel it... Oh will it ever change? I can't explain I don't want to feel the pain, this time, no. And the moment ! the moment I knew that it would never change, Cos I've been here A thousand times by now you know But when it's gone it's gone, love Cos I've noticed by now you'll never be I wanted it all for you to see But I've noticed by now that you just don't belong Now I look back and think on those times when We never gave it all And why, you and I... When a million others passed us by? Cos who we are, we are love

Angel 03:21
Every time I said you were an angel well, I swear I spoke the truth and I speak it now, my angel every time you laid your lips on mine i felt so holy I could die and I feel it now, my angel if these words ever find you they'll never let you go your beauty shines through states of mind and states of soul i can't describe oh no, but they're shining on my angel if these words ever find you they'll never let you go cos midnight skies gonna devour all of our love in the midnight hour when you close your eyes and you wonder why heaven's burning up inside if you close your eyes every time i woke up with a smile i had been dreaming all the while and i'm dreaming now, my angel

Faith 04:17
faith i've got faith and it's golden it's taking me where i want to be lord, if you knew where i've been taken would you come back to me? i've made my mistakes i'm not wasting i'm not wasting all of my time lord, if you knew what i've been doing would you take me alive? where have you gone? where have you been all along? friends, i've got friends and they're helping they're helping me to make my own way lord, if you knew what I've been making would you take them away? i got what i wanted you here by my side i learned what left you haunted you've come right inside ohh where is the world i've been wanting i've been wanting something to come lord can you hear me where i'm calling can you see what i've done ( the devil may care but i've got sympathy for the angels the devil's out there but i've got sympathy for the angels the devil's on my mind but i know i can make my own mind the devil may care but i've got sympathy for the angels i've got faith i've got faith lord if you knew bout by mistakes i've got faith i've got faith lord, if you only knew

about

Road of Trees is Michael Millerman (Toronto) and Alex White (Windsor). Heavily influenced in their earlier years by groups such as Oasis, Spiritualized, and the Verve, the band’s style is “Canadian Britpop,” with elements of indie rock, dreampop, and shoegaze. Melody-driven guitar songs with a touch of organs, keyboards, and occasionally strings are the rule.

ROT’s first release, “The Hamilton Sessions,” features the songs Again Now, Angel, and Faith. The single showcases the basic elements of the band’s sound, from the guitar riffs of Angel, to the bittersweet lyrics of Faith, to the refrain of Again Now, floating on a reverberating sea of organ and guitar.
